Mission

Empower people of all ages through English language skills. Share the tangible love of Christ.

Description

These calls are based at the Polish Seminary of Theology and Humanities (PSTH) in Podkowa Lesna, Poland. There are a few different teaching roles including preschool and English as a second language (ESL). Students coming for language classes range from children to teens to adults, and classes are taught both in small groups and by individual tutoring. Volunteers at this location also participate fully in local community and church life, teaching the English Sabbath school class about half the time and helping with outreach to the communities. PSTH does note that the winters can be long and rather dark in Poland so that should be taken into consideration with applying for this call. People who struggle with depression or seasonal affective disorder may find this location challenging.
