Drama "The Ground We Lost"
The Ground We Lost: Two Tales of American Crisis, an immersive double bill that bridges two eras of environmental catastrophe. The evening pairs Mandy Conner’s Dirt, a haunting journey into the suffocating heart of the 1930s Dust Bowl, with Don Zolidis’s Blossom Canyon Fire, a visceral exploration of the modern wildfire crisis. Together, these two one-act plays examine the fragile bond between a people and their land, portraying the raw grit required to survive when nature turns hostile. It is a stark, powerful look at the resilience of the human spirit when the world we know literally vanishes beneath us. See WWU Drama page
