Student Learning Outcome #1 – Knowledge
Students will demonstrate knowledge of the content, principles, and ideas contained in core classes common to the Exercise Science, Health Science, and Sports Management & Coaching majors.

Student Learning Outcome #2 – Praxis
Students will demonstrate data collection, data analysis and interpretation, and practical application skills as they relate to the fields of Exercise Science, Health Science, and Sports Management & Coaching.

Student Learning Outcome #3 – Communication
Students will demonstrate oral communication skills through participating in debates, discussions, and presentations of projects and research, both individually and in group formats.

Student Learning Outcome #4 – Critical Thinking
Students will demonstrate the critical thinking skills of problem solving, open-mindedness, and analytical reasoning through participation in discussions, laboratory analysis, and research analysis and critique.

Student Learning Outcome #5 – Professionalism & Citizenship
Students will demonstrate professional behavior and citizenship by demonstrating regular class attendance, conducting and presenting original and summary research, and regularly attending departmental colloquia on various topics related to the Exercise Science, Health Science, and Sports Management & Coaching related fields.
