The Portland campus is offering a limited number of visit days.
Hansen Hall
Walla Walla University's Portland campus offers resident housing for nursing students in Hansen Hall. Students accepted into the School of Nursing and attending classes on the Portland campus can submit an on-line application for housing in Hansen Hall.
To complete your housing application:
- Go to Residence Hall Housing
- Select Submit a Housing Application, use your myWWU account information to sign in, and follow the instructions
- While filling out your Residence Hall Application, when you get to the Building Preference drop down menu, select Hansen Hall.

Directions to campus
From the North:
- Take I-205 South to the Glisan/Stark Street exit #21-A.
- Travel on the exit road to the 3rd stoplight.
- Turn left onto Washington Street (one-way).
- At the 2nd stoplight, turn right onto 99th Ave.
- Travel about a mile to a 4-way stop.
- Turn left onto Market Street.
- Travel past Adventist Health Portland.
- Turn left at the large blue sign for Walla Walla University. Parking is free.
- The School of Nursing is the one-story building, the two-story building is the residence hall.
From the South:
- Take I-205 North to the Washington/Stark Street exit #20.
- From the exit ramp, turn right onto Washington Street (one-way).
- At the next stoplight, turn right onto 99th Ave.
- Travel about a mile to a 4-way stop.
- Turn left onto Market Street.
- Travel past Adventist Health Portland.
- Turn left at the large blue sign for Walla Walla University. Parking is free.
- The School of Nursing is the one-story building, the two-story building is the residence hall.
From the East:
- Travel I-84 West and take the I-205 South exit (toward Salem)
- Stay in the right lane and take the immediate Glisan/Stark Street exit #21-A
- Travel on the exit road to the 3rd stoplight.
- Turn left onto Washington Street (one-way).
- At the 2nd stoplight, turn right onto 99th Ave.
- Travel about a mile to a 4-way stop.
- Turn left onto Market Street.
- Travel past Adventist Health Portland.
- Turn left at the large blue sign for Walla Walla University. Parking is free.

From the West (Downtown Portland):
- Travel I-84 East.
- Take the exit for I-205 South, HOWEVER, stay in the right exit lane, DON'T get on the freeway.
- You will be on the exit road that parallels the freeway.
- Travel on the exit road to the 3rd stoplight.
- Turn left onto Washington Street (one-way).
- At the 2nd stoplight, turn right onto 99th Ave.
- Travel about a mile to a 4-way stop.
- Turn left onto Market Street.
- Travel past Adventist Health Portland.
- Turn left at the large blue sign for Walla Walla University. Parking is free.
