Start your nursing journey on the College Place campus.


Beginning prerequisite studies at Walla Walla University:

Connect with department advisors and professors while completing pre-requisite requirements. During the first quarter of professional nursing courses in the sophomore year, students will develop skills and gain experience in clinical settings supporting rural communities.

All nursing majors complete junior- and senior-level nursing courses on the Portland campus. The Portland campus offers a variety of clinical experiences in urban settings.

Priority program admission is given to qualified students completing prerequisites at WWU.


Steps to applying for incoming freshmen

2. Apply to WWU.

Complete the online application and select nursing as your area of study. Once you apply, you will have access to your enrollment portal.

3. Request transcripts.

Request the issuing institution(s) to send all official college, vocational school, College Board (for any Advanced Placement credits), and high school (unless you have 90+ college credits) transcripts to Walla Walla University, either electronically (via the issuing institution's electronic service) to transcripts@wallawalla.edu or by mail to the following address:

From the enrollment portal, you can see when these documents are received.

4. After acceptance, complete fall quarter advising.

A complete application includes all items above, not just the application form. To apply for financial aid, Walla Walla University's FAFSA code is #003799.
