Friday, Oct. 21
8 a.m - 12 p.m. — Class visits
Join your student in one or two of their favorite classes. Faculty will plan for extra seats.
8 a.m. - 1 p.m. — Clyde and Mary Harris Art Gallery
The gallery is located in the Fine Arts Center. Works by Rick Martinez and selected by faculty from the Department of Art will be on display.

Enjoy a warm drink at WWU's study house run by ASWWU. Drink menu and pricing available on site.

12-3 p.m. — Climbing Wall
Families are invited to experience WWU's newest climbing wall during this session. Parents and/or families must be accompanied by a WWU student. Spectators welcome. Climbing spot must be reserved at wallawalla.edu/family-weekend.

1-4 p.m. — Ice cream at Bright’s
Families are invited to enjoy an ice cream cone at the oldest candy store in Walla Walla. A WWU representative will be on site at Bright’s to purchase ice cream for the whole family!

Returned student missionaries will share their experiences through music, stories, cultural wear, and pictures.

Visit booths featuring photographs and souvenirs from countries where student missionaries have served or are presently serving. Encourage a current student missionary by sending a note, and visit with returned students.

7:00 a.m. — Sunrise Bike Ride to Whitman Mission
ASWWU Tread Shed is hosting a family-friendly bicycle ride. Dress for cool weather, bring water, your bicycle, and meet at the Treat Shed behind the Atlas before 7 a.m. Bicycles not provided. Hot drinks are provided at the conclusion of the event.

A special Sabbath School hour exploring how God “takes captive” every art and science and “holds together” all areas of study. Visiting WWU families are warmly welcome to attend.

ASWWU Outdoors is hosting a family-friendly hike. Dress for cool weather, including hiking or walking shoes (might be muddy), bring water, and meet at the University Bookstore by 3:25 p.m. or at Bennington Lake at 4 p.m. Hikers must provide their own transportation.

Bring the family and cheer on our students! The women’s game starts at 7 p.m. and the men’s game begins at 8:15 p.m.

7:30-9 p.m. — Observatory Open*
The Physics Department invites you to come look through the telescope on top of Kretschmar Hall. Weather permitting, the observatory will be open 7:30-9:00pm on Saturday evening. To get to the observatory, take the middle stairwell in Kretschmar Hall (the one next to the CHE office) to the 3rd floor. The door leading up from 3rd floor will be open during this time. Key card building access.
