WWU Department of Music presents sacred concert of organ and piano music featuring WWU students

The Walla Walla University Department of Music will present Evensong, a program of sacred piano and organ music, and the spoken word on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 4 to 5 p.m., at the Walla Walla University Church. Featuring faculty and student performers, the program will include Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Vom Himmel Hoch,” Johann Michael Bach’s “In Dulci Jubilo,” and Mozart’s Piano Concerto in A Major, K.488. 

The student performers will be Andrew Hall, community keyboard student; Benjamin Krueger-Blehm, freshman business major; Gina Lincoln, senior mathematics and music major; Noni Patchett, freshman music student; and Alejandro Quetel, senior music performance major, all students of Debra Bakland and Kraig Scott, professor of music. The spoken word will be presented by Rodd Strobel, assistant professor of physical education.

The University Church is located at 212 SW 4th Street, College Place, Washington. The program is free and open to the public.
