Academic symposium

Annual symposium to highlight student projects

The annual Walla Walla University Academic Symposium will take place Friday, June 8, from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Auditorium. Plenary speaker will be Kirt Onthank, associate professor of biology.

The Academic Symposium highlights the WWU core themes of excellence in thought and beauty in expression by showcasing student scholarship. Students will present academic projects about a variety of disciplines. The symposium aims to raise awareness of the unique contributions of each academic department and to highlight the skills of individual students. The UAS will also provide students with valuable experience in presenting their work in a professional forum.
