2027 Seattle Mission Trip

This Spring Break, we invite you!

What if the most meaningful mission field isn't across the ocean—it's a few hours down the road?  Last year, the CHE debuted its Spring Break Seattle Mission Trip with the Asian Pacific Islander Club. The trip touched the lives of so many students and Seattle citizens alike that this year, we're taking it to the next step: sending multiple campus clubs and student groups across Seattle to reach and connect with even more of the city's population. Read about last year's trip and it's impact on students and locals: Closer to home, closer to purpose.

Why did we choose Seattle? It's one of the most secular cities in the nation, the biggest mission field in the northwest, and not far from the Walla Walla University College Place Campus.

What will students be asked to do? In the mornings, they'll spend some personal time with God, go on prayer walks, and meet and connect with people in public spaces, inviting those people to join them in fellowship. Afternoons, they'll visit local businesses to explore potential future employers and sight see. And in the evenings, students will assist with Bible and children's meetings and home groups.

During the final Sabbath of their stay, all of the participating clubs and student groups will gather together to share experiences and stories of God's leading hand.
