The 26th annual Festival of Shorts will celebrate student talent with an evening of one-act plays and short films featuring student directors with student and guest actors. The event will feature two plays and five short films in a mix of genres. Some of the shows may not be suitable for young children.
Claira Eastwood, senior communication major and drama minor, has written one of the plays that will be performed at the Festival of Shorts. Eastwood says, “I hope the audience knows that film and drama are very alive on this campus and it’s easy to get involved.” To her, drama means creative connection, acceptance, storytelling, and all the good things the world has to offer and Festival of Shorts embodies all of this.
Festival of Shorts will be held on:
- Saturday, Feb. 26 at 8:30 p.m.
- Sunday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m.
- Thursday, March 3 at 7 p.m.
