Walla Walla University will welcome pastors, ministry leaders, and their families from across the Pacific Northwest for the 2026 NPUC Ministerial Convention, Aug. 19–22.
Centered on the theme “It’s Beginning to Rain,” the convention will offer several days of worship, professional development, recreation, and fellowship. Participants can choose from workshops covering evangelism, discipleship, preaching, church leadership, family ministry, spiritual wellness, technology, and other topics relevant to ministry today.
The week will also include exhibits, meals, children’s and youth programming, and family activities throughout campus. Guests can explore WWU through art and library exhibits, film screenings, recreation at the Winter Educational Complex, and opportunities to connect with ministry colleagues from across the region.
Featured speakers throughout the convention include Roger and Kathy Hernandez, WWU President Alex Bryan, General Conference Executive Secretary Rick McEdward, North American Division President G. Alexander Bryant, and General Conference President Erton Köhler. The convention’s Sabbath worship service on Aug. 22 will bring participants and members from across the Northwest together at University Church for a special celebration focused on boldness in mission. Churches throughout the North Pacific Union are also invited to join the service by livestream.
Following the convention, WWU will host the 30th NPUC Constituency Session on Sunday, Aug. 23. Delegates will gather at University Church for reports, elections, and other business, including a Walla Walla University constituency report and session led by NPUC and university leaders.
Together, the events will bring a full week of worship, learning, connection, and celebration to the WWU campus.
