Families of WWU Portland campus nursing students to celebrate milestone

Parent Sabbath and a dedication service for nursing students will take place Nov. 13–14 on the Walla Walla University Nursing Campus in Portland, Oregon. Events for family members of nursing students will begin Friday, Nov. 13, at 6 p.m. with supper and an informal vespers in the lobby of the nursing student residence hall.

On Sabbath, Nov. 14, all are invited to a special church service at the Sunnyside Seventh-day Adventist church with guest speaker, John McVay, WWU president. Lunch will be provided by WWU after the service for family members of nursing students.

The nursing dedication service to welcome junior nursing majors into the nursing profession will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sabbath, also at the Sunnyside Church. A reception will immediately follow the dedication.
