Po-Chuan Chiang, acclaimed international musician, and Cristian Neacsu, assistant professor of music at Walla Walla University, will present a recital featuring the music of classical composers, including Handel, Brahms, and Tchaikovsky, on Sunday, Jan. 19, at 7 p.m. in the Melvin K. He established the ASA Concerto Competition and regularly works with prominent artists such as Stefan Milenkovich, Piotr Milewsky, Herbert Bloomsted, and others. In 2017, the Burman Virtuosi, a strings chamber orchestra of select players that was established by Neacsu, performed at the Music Conference Alberta along with other acclaimed ensembles from the province.
