This week, the Associated Students of Walla Walla University (ASWWU) will host a student-led week of worship in the University Church. Under the theme of forgiveness, thirteen student speakers will share a message with students, faculty, and staff.
Services at 11:40 a.m. from January 9–13 will be led by Havilah Reimche-Vu, Rachael Schremp, Isaac Nelson, JB Wa-Mbaleka, Alexandra Tyler, Ashley Cox, Donovan Ruelas, Charlie Miller, Makena Fleck, and Ivy Lu. Kathryn Mammone and Hannah Brown will speak at vespers on January 13 at 8 p.m. Parker Leclerc, ASWWU Spiritual vice president, will speak at the University Church service on January 14 at 11:15 a.m.
Additional coordinating events during the week include discussions about forgiveness in the Atlas coffee shop on January 9 and 11 at 7 p.m., a forgiveness testimony from Darold Bigger accompanied by meaningful music in the Administration Building on January 10 at 7 p.m., and a fellowship bonfire on the Rogers School field on January 13 at 9 p.m.
