Worship program to feature new organ students Gina Lincoln and Parker Bailey

The Walla Walla University Department of Music will present Evensong, a program of sacred music and spoken word, in the University Church at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21.

Evensong will feature Kraig Scott, professor of music, as he plays compositions by Debussy, Couperin, and Fauré on the Church’s grand pipe organ and Bösendorfer piano.

The program will also feature Montgomery Buell, associate professor of history, who will give the spoken word, as well as Gina Lincoln and Parker Bailey, two new organ students, who will perform compositions by Bach, Pachelbel, Scheidt, and more.
