Close the school year with an evening of sacred music and the spoken word

The Walla Walla University Department of Music will present an Evensong service in the University Church at 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 10. The service will feature organ music performed by Kraig Scott, professor of music, and spoken word by Montgomery Buell, professor of history.

Evensong began during the 1962-63 school year and has become a tradition at WWU. The sundown worship service combines the spoken word with music for a simple and sacred closing to the Sabbath.

Evensong is free and open to the public. The University Church is located at 212 S.W. Fourth Street in College Place.
