The Cascade Collegiate Conference announced the Academic All-Conference honorary athletes for the fall and winter sports. There are 25 student athletes from Walla Walla University that earned this award for the 2022-2023 season.
To earn this award, an athlete must be sophomore standing with a 3.2 minimum cumulative GPA. “We are honored to have them in our program, and they will see how it will help them in the future,” said athletic director Nestor Osorio about WWU’s student athletes.
Nine athletes from the volleyball team, five from soccer, five from cross-country, three from women’s basketball, and three from men’s basketball earned the award.
“Congratulations to all of our athletes who have received this recognition they so deserve! They dedicate so much of their time not only to their sports but also to their academics. Proud of our Wolf Pack,” said Jordan Manteghi, sports information director.
