His Kids in Action

Mission Statement
We connect with the kids in the community by learning life lessons together and unplugging from the norm while modeling the love of Jesus.

The purpose of the His Kids in Action Club is to provide children from the north side of Walla Walla with some activities that will encourage them toward making positive life choices. Every Sabbath afternoon, Walla Walla University students lead out in games, singing, Bible stories, and crafts, providing mentoring and friendship for the children.

Due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak and social distancing requirements, His Kids In Action has not been able to run normal programs. Despite the major obstacles, children are still being shown the love of Jesus. Gift bags with crafts, Bible stories, and more have been passed out; Zoom game and movie nights are being scheduled; and Walla Walla University students are still working from home to keep this ministry alive. If you would like to get involved, email lindsey.schumacher@wallawalla.edu.
