Walla Walla University supports new transfer students by providing comprehensive transfer student orientation and personalized guidance based on their transfer credits. Transfer orientation is designed for students with 45 or more transfer credits who have previous full-time college experience beyond high school dual enrollment programs. During orientation, you will meet representatives from key departments, learn about important school policies, complete steps for finalizing your registration, and discover campus resources designed to support your academic success. Fall orientation consists of several days of sessions and activities the week prior to the start of classes, while Winter & Spring orientation is typically held the Sunday prior to the start of classes.

2026 Transfer Student Orientation

Transfer students are automatically enrolled in the Transfer Orientation course, which is accessible through D2L Brightspace via myWWU. Transfer student check-in will be on Tuesday, September 22nd, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. We will host the required in-person orientation sessions Wednesday, September 23, through Friday, September 25, featuring presentations from key departments across campus. These mandatory sessions will provide essential information to help you successfully transition to Walla Walla University.
