Jennifer Preble
Assistant Professor, Social Work and Sociology
I have been a social worker for nearly 20 years, directly providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Most of my career is within community mental health centers including leadership. Since obtaining my Doctorate in Social Work from Walla Walla University, I began adjunct teaching and am honored to be selected for Assistant Faculty for the Wilma Hepker School of Social Work and Sociology.
I am looking forward to sharing my expertise in therapy and mental health systems of care with students who wish to continue making a difference in their home communities. I am excited about bringing innovative ideas to support and retain social workers in the industry.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, scrapbooking, and enjoying the outdoors. The Walla Walla family will also see my service dog, Angel, around campus.
