WWU hosts program to improve leadership skills and inspire global change

Walla Walla University will host the 2020 Global Leadership Summit (GLS) to be held online Aug. 6-7. The program is open to all interested participants.

The GLS will bring together more than 15 world-class speakers from around the globe to provide insight and inspiration for participants from all walks of life. Through this unique program, the GLS seeks to expand the influence of individuals who will in turn ignite transformation in their communities, churches, businesses, and organizations.

Speakers will include Amy Edmondson, Novartis Professor of Leadership and Management at the Harvard Business School; Lysa Terkeurst, president of Proverbs 31Ministries and best-selling author; Paula Faris, senior national correspondent with ABC News; Beth Comstock, director at Nike; and Kaká, Brazilian retired soccer player and FIFA World Player of the Year.

Participants must register in advance at globalleadership.org. To receive the WWU discounted rate, use the WWU referral code: INSPIRE2020. The discounted rate through July 21 is $99 per participant; the discounted rate beginning July 22 is $129 per participant.
