WWU ensembles to perform concerts to close the year

On Saturday, May 18 at 4 p.m., Walla Walla University’s wind symphony will present a concert. The wind symphony features brass, woodwinds, and percussion instruments, and is directed by Brandon Beck, associate professor of music. A variety of music selections will showcase WWU’s talented musicians.

The Department of Music will also present their symphony orchestra concert on Thursday, May 23 at 7:30 p.m. This year, the WWU symphony orchestra was invited to perform in February as part of the 2024 Capital Orchestra Festival in the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. You won't want to miss hearing this group as they take to a local stage.

Both concerts will be performed in the University Church, located at 212 SW Fourth St., College Place. Admission is free and open to the public.
