Choir and Orchestra Festival

High schools to visit WWU campus for a celebration of music

Walla Walla University will host the annual Department of Music Choir and Orchestra Festival from Feb. 7–10. High school students representing over fifteen schools will visit the WWU campus to participate in the festival.

Students visiting for the festival will represent academies from around the Pacific Northwest. This year, the festival will also host students from a Seventh-day Adventist academy in Argentina and a number of homeschool students. The event provides an opportunity for high school students to visit WWU and to get acquainted with the campus and its music department.

To close the event, a festival concert will be performed by the visiting choirs and orchestras on Saturday, Feb. 10, at 4 p.m. in the Walla Walla University Church. The performance is free and open to the public. The University Church is located at 212 S.W. Fourth St., College Place.
