Walla Walla University’s Discovery Preschool has been awarded with the 2019 Best of College Place Award in the Day Care category.  

Each year, the College Place Award Program identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. Recognition is given to those companies that have shown the ability to use their best practices and implemented programs to generate competitive advantages and long-term value. 

Discovery Preschool at WWU is focused on giving children hands-on learning experiences that allow them to learn in a natural, playful, and social environment and hope to foster a life-long love for learning. They emphasize Christian values present in most faiths, such as honesty, kindness, love, patience, and sharing. 

Discovery Preschool is also an integral part of the School of Education and Psychology at WWU and serves as a learning lab for university students within the department.
