Center for Media Ministry

Mission statement

The Center for Media Ministry (CMM) at Walla Walla University exists to provide meaningful, world changing content through the art of filmmaking. Through collaborations, The Center produces and creates engaging content that impacts the greater Walla Walla Valley and beyond.


The Center is staffed by a Director and a Producer/Director of Studio Operations who work directly with students to provide real world opportunities and experience in a film production environment. This environment includes a production studio, industry leading equipment, and post production facilities on campus The Center for Media Ministry was founded in 2015 for the purpose of showing students the impact they can have through the creative art of filmmaking.

Color of Threads

A weaver and a group of seamstresses learn to navigate the unstable climate in post-Civil War Pendleton, Oregon, while trying to secure their futures in the town. More information available at

Just As I Am

A multi-episode series that tells stories of those who have gone through impossible situations that have tested their faith to the core. Expected release late-2024

Imagine Faith Talk

A podcast turned visual series focused on faith-based conversations for holistic success. Episodes are hosted by Kevin Olusola (beatboxer of the 3x Grammy® award-winning, multi-platinum selling a cappella quintet Pentatonix) and author, life coach, and entrepreneur Donovan Dee Donnell. Through each deep dive into the Bible, they discover how to maximize uniqueness, weaponize the imagination, and leverage faith in God for success.
