Student Learning Outcomes

Students graduating with a business degree will:

  1. Possess foundational business knowledge in accounting, finance, economics, information systems, legal and social environment, management, marketing, quantitative analysis, and global issues.
  2. Develop the knowledge and skills needed for entry-level jobs in concentration areas (Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship & Small Business).
  3. Communicate effectively in business settings.
  4. Apply foundational business knowledge and skills through internships.
  5. Recognize ethical dilemmas and make ethical choices in complex business situations.
  6. Demonstrate job-seeking skills and secure successful placement.
  7. Apply basic business knowledge needed for lower entry-level positions or for operating a small business (A.S. degree only)
