Student Learning Outcomes

Business Core for the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, and Bachelor of Science (BS) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees with majors in Business Administration:

  1. Students will possess foundational business knowledge in accounting, finance, economics, information systems, legal and social environment, management, marketing, quantitative analysis, and global issues.
  2. Students will be able to communicate effectively in business settings.
  3. Students will recognize ethical dilemmas and make ethical choices in complicated business situations.
  4. Students will apply foundational business knowledge and skills by participating in internships.
  5. Students will obtain job-seeking skills and secure successful placement.

BBA Concentrations (Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship & Small Business):

  1. Students will possess the knowledge and skills needed for entry-level jobs in each concentration area. 


Associate of Science (AS) in Business degree:

  1. Students will have the basic business knowledge needed for lower entry-level positions in business and for operating a small business.
