WWU hosts end-of-the year choral concert

##

On May 20 at 5 p.m, University Singers and ICantori of Walla Walla University will perform their last concert of this academic year. Come and listen to some great music performed by WWU musicians. The university’s chamber orchestra will also be featured. All three ensembles are directed by Kraig Scott, associate professor of music.

The music performed will feature songs from several renowned composers such as Cedric Dent, and Damijan Mocknik. As well, the University Singers, the chamber orchestra, and a featured percussionist from the valley, will be performing a mass written by Ludwig Van Beethoven. This concert signifies the end of the music department’s choral performances until next fall. The concert is free but the music department will be accepting donations.

The concert will take place in the Walla Walla University Church at 212 SW Fourth St., College Place.
