Friends of the WWU Libraries
From a few bookshelves in the first Administration Building, to a collection of more than 190,000 books, 1,000 periodical subscriptions, and several full-text, online databases, the Libraries of Walla Walla University have undergone many changes over the past 114 years. Yet, their fundamental purpose remains unchanged: serving the information and research needs of more than 1,900 students, faculty, and staff.
This purpose is realized through several inter-connected libraries, which comprise the Libraries of WWU. These include Peterson Memorial Library (the main campus library), the School of Nursing Library in Portland, the Master of Social Work Library in Missoula, the Curriculum Library, and the Rosario Marine Station collection.
The Friends of the WWU Libraries Fund has been established to help these libraries continue their mission. Your gifts to the Friends of the WWU Libraries Fund provide a source of income, beyond the regular materials budget, designated specifically for strengthening and enriching the collections of the Walla Walla University Libraries. Resources will support teaching and researching across all
disciplines.
What will my gift provide?
Gifts of all sizes will benefit the WWU libraries and the students they support. Here's a breakdown of what each giving level will provide.

| $1,500 | 20 books or scholarly resources in the sciences and engineering or 30 books or scholarly resources in arts, humanities, or social sciences, or a multi-volume,subject-specific encyclopedia |
| $1,000 | 13 books or scholarly resources in the sciences and engineering or 20 books or scholarly resources in arts, humanities, or social sciences |
| $500 | Seven books or scholarly resources in the sciences and engineering or 10 books or scholarly resources in arts, humanities, or social sciences |
| $250 | Three books or scholarly resources in the sciences and engineering or five books or scholarly resources in arts, humanities, or social sciences |
| $100 | One book or scholarly resource in the science and engineering or two books or scholarly resources in arts, humanities, or social sciences |
| $50 | One book or scholarly resource in the arts and humanities, social sciences,education or a new video or CD |
Donations of books and other resources are also welcome, especially those relating to Northwest Seventh-day Adventist history.
