Senior Recognition

Tuesday, February 12, 2019 | 11 a.m. | University Church

This special CommUnity program recognizes and honors the graduating seniors of 2019. It features the seniors in regalia, great music, inspiring speakers, and gives a taste of the graduation festivities to take place the weekend of June 14-16.
Join us in celebrating our seniors!

Walla Walla University seniors

We encourage all graduating seniors on the College Place campus to take part in the Senior Recognition ceremony.

Here's what you need to know:

  • Graduating seniors are to wear regalia and march into the church together.
  • Plan to meet at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 and line up outside on the sidewalk by Heubach Chapel. If the weather is bad, lineup will be in the south hallway of the University Church by the church offices. Look for signs. The junior class President and Vice President will lead the procession, followed by the senior class officers, and then the rest of the graduating seniors.
  • Regalia includes caps, gowns, and tassels. These are available at the University Bookstore and will be yours to keep.

If you have any questions about regalia, please contact Matt Heinrich in the University Bookstore at (509) 527-2441.

Parents and families

We want to celebrate with you! You're invited to join us in person but if you can't make it, the ceremony will also be streamed live on YouTube on Feb. 12 at 11 a.m.
