Virtual U-Days

Virtual U-Days online event to offer opportunities for high school students to explore WWU campus and programs

This spring, to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19, Walla Walla University will host an online U-Days event in lieu of the traditional in-person event when high school students from across the North Pacific Union Conference gather on the WWU campus to experience college life firsthand.

On May 4, Virtual U-Days will open online with a shared worship experience—a taste of the many worship opportunities available to WWU students. Guests will then gather virtually for smaller group sessions where they will watch videos prepared for U-Days on topics related to life at WWU including the rigorous academic program, engaging spiritual life, residence hall life, and other services that support student success. Guests will then take part in a live question-and-answer session with WWU students, faculty, and staff. The event will be punctuated with giveaways and opportunities to earn scholarships for the fall 2020 academic year.

“We love sharing WWU whether it’s in person or virtually,” said Melissa Rae, director for recruitment. “WWU is an incredible place with so much to offer, and we hope students will be able to experience a little sliver of that through Virtual U-Days.”
