Mack Brock to present worship workshop and concert at WWU

Mack Brock, singer, songwriter, worship leader, and music producer, will present a worship leader’s workshop and a contemporary Christian worship concert on the campus of Walla Walla University in mid-April. Both events are free and open to the public. Seating will be first come, first seated.

The Worship Workshop will be held Thursday, April 14, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., in the university’s Village Hall (207 S. College Ave., College Place). Brock will work with attendees to explore how worship leaders can enhance their praise and worship experiences through music.

On Friday, April 15, 8 p.m., Brock will headline a contemporary Christian worship concert in the Walla Walla University Church (212 S.W. Fourth St., College Place).

Brock launched his Christian music solo career in 2018 when he released his “Greater Things” album. Since, he has released three more solo albums, “Covered” (2019), “Space” (2020) and “Café Sessions” (2021). Recently, Brock released two singles, “The Love of Jesus,” and “The Best Is Yet To Come” featuring Pat Barrett.

Brock was a founding member of Elevation Worship contemporary music band and served for a decade as music producer and worship leader at Elevation Church in Charlotte, N.C. He has collaborated with musicians on successful Christian music albums including “Kingdom Come,” “Nothing is Wasted,” “Wake Up the Wonder,” and “Here as in Heaven.”

Brock co-wrote popular worship songs, “O Come To The Altar,” “Resurrecting,” “Here As In Heaven,” and “Do It Again,” and three of his songs have been listed in the Top 25 on Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) charts. “O Come To the Altar” made the Top 5 list at both Billboard AC Monitored and National Christian Audience charts.

A five-time Dove Awards nominee, Brock focuses on equipping worship leaders to navigate creative and technical challenges when they heed God’s call to facilitate worship through music.

Brock’s visit is hosted by ASWWU Spiritual, a division of the Associated Students of Walla Walla University (ASWWU).
