Adding Department Contact Information

Make sure you are working on the main page for your department. The contact info will then show up an all subpages under the main page.
On the main page, click the add element icon in the "Side content (inheritance)" section. This is important. Please don't mess up.
Enter the word "Contact" as your header.
Typically the department title is sized as a Heading 4. Add the content information you wish to display. For a header, we suggest you use "Contact" to preserve continuity. If you like, you can make text in the contact box link to emails or other pages.
When you save and exit, your side element should look something like this. It will also show up on all subpages in your department.

Inheritance

Inheritance can be tricky when you're just starting out. The basic idea is that anything put into inheritance on a page will be 'given' to the 'child pages' listed under that page. Most likley you'll only use it for sidebar navigation, and general information like a departments contact information as shown above.
