Conna Bond is rejoining the Walla Walla University team as an Associate Professor in the School of Business. Conna has been a faculty member of WWU since 2013, though she transitioned to a contract instructor in 2017 when she and her family moved to Kalispell, Montana. She holds a BA in history from Whitman College and a law degree from University of Florida, as well as being a co-founder of Red Canoe Creative..
In her spare time, Conna enjoys writing about science and environmental issues, climbing mountains, and hiking in Glacier National Park. She and her husband, Mark, have four children: Emily Beth, Chelsea, Taylor, and Adriana. We are excited to have Conna rejoin the Walla Walla University family, so please extend a warm welcome!
Samuel Cummings is joining the Walla Walla University team as Help Desk Manager in the Information Technology department. Sam is a 2019 graduate of Walla Walla University with a BS in Health Science, and has been working for the WWU IT department for several years as a student employee.
He has been living in Walla Walla since 2010, when he moved from Enterprise, Oregon. Sam and his wife, Mikaela, have one son, Charlie. In his spare time, Sam enjoys reading, hiking, and wood carving/whittling. We are excited to have Sam join the Walla Walla University family in this new role, so please extend him a warm welcome.
Talyah Nelson is joining the Walla Walla University team as STEM Recruiter and Engineering Program Support in the Engineering department. Talyah is a WWU graduate with a BSE in Mechanical Engineering. She most recently interned for Key Technology as a Manufacturing Engineer and is excited to give back to the WWU Engineering program.
Talyah has been in the Walla Walla valley since 2008, where she attended Walla Walla High-School before enrolling at the university. In her spare time, she enjoys running, biking, swimming, weight lifting, reading, cross-stitching, rollerblading, hiking/backpacking, flower arranging, and painting.
