Kraig Scott performs with graduating seniors for last Evensong of the year

The Walla Walla University Department of Music will present the last Evensong program of this academic year on Saturday, June 11, at 8 p.m. in the University Church, 212 SW Fourth St., College Place.

The event will feature organ selections from Kraig Scott, professor of music, along with meditative spoken word pieces by Montgomery Buell, associate professor of history. Performing with Scott will be three graduating senior musicians: Katie Sloop, biochemistry/pre-medicine major; Ryan Robinson, biology major; and Frankie Bones, music performance major.

“It will be a quiet but celebratory way to end the Sabbath on a very special weekend,” Scott said of the event, which will take place the day before the WWU commencement ceremony.

Evensong is free and open to the public.
