Music is a part of life at Walla Walla University. You might hear praise songs, classical piano, a steel drum band, a gospel choir or even a full orchestra at our Tuesday morning chapel services. You could enjoy a rockin' early morning worship service at the Awakening or perhaps end your Sabbath afternoon with a classical Evensong performance at University Church. There are plenty of opportunities for talented students to participate in our music programs, whether or not they are seeking a music-related degree. You may want to audition for one of our choirs or bands. For those who prefer to be in the audience, the university puts on numerous music events that are free to attending students. Students have the opportunity to watch performances varying from children who are studying music to master recitals by well respected musicians.

Perhaps you'd like to fulfill your humanities requirement with either our Intro to Music class or our popular World Music class. Whether you're a dedicated virtuoso or just enjoy listening, Walla Walla University will be sure to bless your life with wonderful music.

Be sure to visit the official site of the Music Department for more information and their upcoming performance calendar.
