Traditional BS in Nursing Track

 

Current WWU Students:

Current WWU students that meet the pre-admissions requirements must apply directly to the School of Nursing.

Application Deadline:  April 15th

 

Steps to applying:

  1. Apply to the School of Nursing using the online application found here.
  2. Take the pre-admissions tests. Detailed information on pre-admissions testing can be found here. Admissions tests must be completed prior to the application deadline. Arrangements may be made through Counseling and Testing Services, (509) 527-2147. There is a $10 fee for each test.

 

 

Transfer BS in Nursing: College Place Start

Transfer Students to WWU:

All prospective student must apply to both Walla Walla University and the School of Nursing (two different application forms). All admission files are compiled and kept on the main campus in College Place, Washington. A complete application includes all the items below, not just the application forms.

Application Deadline:  April 15th 

 

Steps to applying:

  • First, apply to WWU. Fill in the on-line form and have a credit card handy for the $40 application fee.  WWU online application form can be found here.
  • Next, apply to the School of Nursing using the online application found here.
  • Send official copies of all transcripts (including high school unless you have 90+ college credits) to the Office of Enrollment at the address provided below.  

    • Office of Enrollment, Walla Walla University, 204 S. College Ave., College Place, WA 99362

  • Have three (3) letters of reference sent to the Office of Enrollment at the above address or use the online reference form that can be found here. Nursing applicants require three (3) letters of reference (not just one). References must be not be provided by family or friends, unless they are your employers.
  • To check on your file, contact the Office of Enrollment at (800) 541-8900
  • Take the pre-admissions tests.  You must have applied to WWU prior to testing. Contact Stephanie Elie, School of Nursing Administrative Assistant at (509) 527-2461 for exam proctoring information and instructions. Detailed information on pre-admission testing can be found here.
  • To apply for financial aid, the school FAFSA code is #003799. Financial aid forms can be found on-line here.

 

 

Transfer BS in Nursing: Portland Start

Transfer Students to WWU: 

All prospective student must apply to both Walla Walla University and the School of Nursing (two different application forms). All admission files are compiled and kept on the main campus in College Place, Washington.  A complete application includes all the items below, not just the application forms.

Application Deadline:  February 1st  (Summer term begins June 25, 2018)

 

Steps to applying:

  • First, apply to WWU. Fill in the on-line form and have a credit card handy for the $40 application fee.  WWU online application form can be found here.
  • Next, apply to the School of Nursing using the online application found here. GPA must be 3.25 or greater (cumulative, college-level, non-vocational)
  • Send official copies of all transcripts (including high school unless you have 90+ college credits) to the Office of Enrollment at the address provided below.

In Portland, testing is scheduled in January on the Portland campus.  View testing dates here then contact Portland.Advising@wallawalla.edu or at (503) 251-6115 ext. 17304 to schedule a testing time.  Tests must be paid for at the time of testing.  Bring exact cash, $30 for all three (3) exams.
