The Walla Walla University Department of Music will present Evensong, a sundown service of spoken word and organ music, on Sabbath, Dec. 4, at 4 p.m. The program will be held in the University Church and the service is free and open to the public. Masks are required for all attendees. 

The program will feature seven variations upon the Christmas theme, “In Dulci Jubilo”, or “in sweet joy,” by composers Johann Michael Bach, Dietrich Buxtehude, Johann Sebastian Bach, Franz List, Norman Dello Joio, and Marcel Dupre.

The spoken word will be presented by Rodd Strobel, assistant professor of health and physical education.
