Mock interview workshop

Lambda Pi Eta to host one-on-one mock interviews for WWU students

The Nu Zeta Chapter of Lambda Pi Eta is hosting a mock interview workshop at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23 in Room 305 of the Canaday Technology Center.

Lambda Pi Eta (LPH) is a national communications studies honor society aimed to prepare students for a career in communications. The Walla Walla University chapter of LPH has partnered with David Lindstrom, director of the WWU Student Development Center, to offer students the chance to practice their one-on-one interviewing skills.

The workshop is geared toward upperclassmen, but open to WWU students from all class standings and majors. Participants are encouraged to treat the mock interviews as real by dressing up and bringing copies of their resumes.

“Everyone needs practice,” said Josie Henderson, co-president of the Nu Zeta Chapter of LPH, “and this is a great chance to have a professional review your resume and give you pointers for interviews.”

Walk-ins are welcome, but RSVPs are preferred for planning purposes. To RSVP for the event, email commlang@wallawalla.edu before Jan. 23.

The Canaday Technology Center is located at 306 SW Fourth St. in College Place, Washington.
