ROSARIO BEACH MARINE LABORATORY

ACADEMIC PROGRAM ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA

The number of applications received usually is greater than the number of students that Rosario can accommodate in regards to classroom and housing space. Therefore, applicants will be accepted as follows:

General Biology students in the following order:

Priority Group #1: Students currently enrolled at WWU, currently enrolled at affiliate institutions, and teachers.

Priority Group #2: Students currently enrolled at non-affiliate institutions.

Priority Group #3: Incoming freshmen who have been accepted at WWU or an affiliate institution.

Priority Group #4: Other (including students applying to take only one or two quarters of General Biology).

Upper-division and graduate students in the following order:

Priority Group #1: Students currently enrolled at WWU, currently enrolled at affiliate institutions , and teachers.

Priority Group #2: Students currently enrolled at non-affiliate institutions.

Priority Group #3: Other (including undergraduate students applying to take only one course with no accompanying approved research activities).

 

Applications will be held until March 1, at which time they will be prioritized according to the above order. Students applying after March 1 will be accepted on a "first-come first-serve" space available basis.
