Automotive Program

Walla Walla University is proud to offer three degree options for students interested in a career in the automotive industry. Outstanding classroom and hands-on instruction in late-model, sophisticated vehicle systems with an emphasis on diagnosis are hallmarks of what separates WWU's Automotive graduates from their peers.

You will learn what makes automobiles and their systems work, how and why they fail, and how to use tools and equipment to diagnose and repair the defects quickly and effectively. Students are afforded the opportunity to study and hone their skills in our beautiful lab with state-of-the-art equipment, including a Mustang AWD-IMP dynamometer as well as new Hunter wheel alignment and tire equipment. We also employ students as technicians in our real-life business, University Auto.

Learn about our program, meet our qualified faculty, take a tour of our lab, or view some images and video from around the Northwest in our gallery. This website is for you to explore what Walla Walla University Automotive has to offer, and why you should study here.

Application Process

WWU's automotive programs operate at full capacity, so there is an application process for students wishing to enroll in either Automotive Technology or Automotive Management.  This process is simple, but it is time-sensitive.  To apply for admissions to the automotive program fill out and submit the online form:

Required Tools

Students enrolled in the Automotive program are asked to purchase a set of high quality tools (see the required tools list).  Students are eligible for an approximate 50% discount off the list price of the tools.
