Judith Poirot

Judith Poirot graduated with an MSW degree from Walla Walla College in 1995 and has been working as a Counselor in mental health agencies since then. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in two states, Washington and Oregon. She has worked with a variety of Clients and specializes in Emotions Management, Traumatic Stress Recovery, Relationships, and Personal Growth/empowerment. She has been trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Brief Solution Focus Therapy, Motivational Interviewing therapy, and Trauma and Dissociation /Childhood Abuse Therapy. She states, “I see counseling as self-education. It is your chance to learn about what you really think, feel, and value, and determine what you need to do to move ahead with your life. I think everyone could benefit from counseling.”
