Once you have the VPN created it's time to connect to it. If you have yet to create your VPNclick here.
Windows 7
Click the Start menu and type Network Connections. Click View network connections
Assuming you've already set up the WWU VPN per the previous tutorial you should have a new network adapter named "WWU VPN"
Right-click the VPN and choose Connect
This will open up the connection window, in which you input your WWU username and password and then click Connect. You also have the option to save your username and password for future use by checking the "Save this username…" box.
You will then see a small verification window appear as the program tries to establish the connection
Assuming you're not prompted with any error messages you should now be connected.

***Note: If you cannot locate the icon on your desktop you can find the VPN connection in Control Panel > Network Connections
