Recommended Android Apps

To install the following Applications scan the QR codes with your Barcode Scanner App (install below).

Microsoft Lync:Lync 2010 for Android extends the power of Lync to your mobile device – including rich presence, instant messaging, audio conferencing, and calling features from a single, easy-to-use interface.

Barcode Scanner:Scan barcodes on CDs, books, and other products, then look up prices and reviews, or search for a word in a book and find where it occurs. You can also scan QR Codes containing URLs, contact info, calendar events, etc.

Google Goggles: Google Goggles is a visual search app.  Instead of using words, take a picture of an object with your camera phone: we attempt to recognize the object, and return relevant search results. Goggles can also recognize English, French, Italian, German and Spanish words and allow you to translate to other languages.

Advanced Task Killer:Advanced Task Killer is also known as ATK. It is a tool to kill running applications. This is beneficial when trying to save battery life.

Holy Bible: Holy Bible app with search and user friendly navigation. Take the Good Book with you wherever you go.

Google Voice: Place calls and send SMS showing your Google number. Listen to voicemail and read transcripts. Google Voice account required, currently only available in the US.

KeePass Droid: KeePassDroid is an implementation of the KeePass Password Safe for Android. It does not support .kdbx from KeePass 2.x.

Skype: Call from anywhere* WiFi or 3G not required. Send and receive instant messages from your mobile.
