12 noon Commencement Rehearsal Lunch, Rigby Hall Courtyard
President and Mrs. McVay and Cabinet invite all graduates—graduating seniors and graduate students—to come by for lunch before the start of Commencement Rehearsal. In the event of inclement weather, the lunch will be held in the Alaska Room (Kellogg Hall).
1 p.m. Commencement Rehearsal, Centennial Green
Graduates will practice for the Commencement ceremony and receive details about weekend activities, ordering pictures, etc.
FRIDAY, JUNE 14
8 p.m. Consecration, University Church
The senior class will present the evening vespers program.
9 p.m. (after Consecration) Graduate Reception, Cafeteria, Kellogg Hall
The residence hall deans invite all those who are graduating, their families, and faculty and staff to a reception immediately following the Consecration service.

9:30 a.m. FirstServe, Baccalaureate, University Church
Chris Oberg, senior pastor of La Sierra University Church, will be the speaker. FirstServe is a more relaxed service featuring contemporary praise music.
10:30 a.m. Sabbath School, University Church
Consult the University Church bulletin (available at the door and online at wwuchurch.org) for a list of Sabbath School options, meeting times and locations.
11:45 a.m. Second Service, Baccalaureate, University Church
Chris Oberg, senior pastor of La Sierra University Church, will be the speaker. Second Service is our more traditional church service.
3 p.m. Teacher Dedication, Walla Walla Valley Academy Auditorium
Special dedication service to honor those graduating in Education. All are welcome to attend.
4 p.m. Nurses' Pinning, University Church
Special dedication service to honor our Nursing students. Reception immediately following in the Fellowship Hall. All are welcome to attend.
5 p.m. Theology Senior Dedication, Heubach Chapel (University Church)
Special dedication service to honor graduating Theology and Religion majors. All are welcome to come and show support for the young ministers and bible workers as they meet together one last time before they pursue their future for Christ.
5 p.m. Bachelor in Social Work Pinning, WEC Room 209
Special dedication service to honor Bachelor of Social Work graduates. Reception immediately following. All are welcome to attend.
6 p.m. Strawberry Dessert Reception, Fine Arts Center Lawn
The senior class officers invite graduates and their families to enjoy strawberries, ice cream, and time together. In the event of inclement weather, the reception will be held in the Alumni Gymnasium.
7 p.m. Master's Degree Hooding Ceremony, Walla Walla Valley Academy
Friends and family of master's degree candidates are invited to this celebration of achievement. A reception will follow.
8:00 p.m. Evensong, University Church
This sunset service features organ music and the spoken word and is presented by Kraig Scott, professor of music, and Rodd Strobel, WEC facilities manager and instructor.
SUNDAY, JUNE 16
7:30 a.m. Graduate Group Photographs, Kretschmar Hall Lawn
Graduates gather to be photographed and then line up in marching order for the Commencement processional.
8:00 a.m. Administration/Board/Emeriti/Faculty/Staff, Rigby Hall Sidewalk
Administration, Board, Emeriti, Faculty, and Staff line up on the sidewalk west of Rigby Hall in marching order for Commencement processional. The marshals will give you instructions at that time.
8:30 a.m. Commencement, Centennial Green
Dr. Robert A. Seiple, founder of the Institute for Global Engagement and first U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom, will give the Commencement address.
If rain is forecast, please come prepared for it, as there is no adequate alternative facility in which to conduct Commencement.
