Where: Walla Walla City Church, 2133 S Howard in Walla Walla
The Walla Walla City Church is starting an after school program for high school students at Wa-Hi from 3pm-5pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, or until their parents arrive to pick them up. This will involve mentoring, playing games, and hanging out. You may volunteer once, or regularly, and your involvement can be for once a week or all three times each week. American Red Cross
The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its congressional charter and the fundamental principles of the international Red Cross movement. It will provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. We are looking for volunteers who:
  • Can come on a regular basis
  • Can help out once with a big project
Volunteer Opportunities:
  • Disaster response
  • Blood collection
  • Teaching CPR
  • Teaching First Aid classes

Required Training:
  • Completed volunteer application
  • Able to complete and pass a background check.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish speaker is a plus.
  • Genuine commitment to helping people who are in distress and need immediate assistance.
We offer a video that welcomes volunteers to the American Red Cross. We also have a volunteer handbook that describes the Red Cross policies and our mission.
