Walla Walla University’s website has been ranked by a French website to be among the top 51 companies using the Typo3 content management system (CMS) to manage their websites.

Due to this ranking, a representative of the education department of the French government recently contacted WWU’s Web Content Manager.  He wanted to know how WWU was doing some things on its website, as the French education department wanted to set up something similar.

Other companies listed in the top 51 include UNICEF, Audi, and Philips, among others.

As the website is in French, WWU French professor Jean-Paul Grimaud translated the website’s introductory paragraph.  The English translation is below.

Typo3  is used by numerous prestigious companies such as CISCO, UNICEF, AIR France-KLM, The Economist, Total, EDS, Epson, Bayer, Ford, UNESCO, Audi, Philips, Handicap International or Bonjour Québec… Below is a list of the best 51.
