WWU Ranked Among Top Universities
U.S. News & World Report Names WWU Among the Best

The 2013 edition of “U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges” has been released, naming Walla Walla University a top tier institution in the western United States.
WWU ranks 43rd out of 89 schools in the top tier of the “Regional Universities – West” category. The Best Colleges rankings are based on a variety of factors, including retention and graduation rates, undergraduate academic reputation, faculty and financial resources, and alumni giving rate, among others.
Institutions within the category of Regional Universities offer a full range of undergraduate programs and some master’s programs. Colleges and universities from 15 states comprise the western states category
Walla Walla University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities and the Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist Schools, Colleges, and Universities.
The university’s specific programs are accredited by:
• Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs
• Council on Social Work Education
• Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc.
• National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission
• National Association of Schools of Music
• Washington State Board of Education for Teacher Certification
