WWU Hosts Discussion on US Economy
Interdisciplinary faculty discussion April 24
Walla Walla University invites the community to a discussion about the current state of the United States economy. This event will take place Friday, April 24, at 2 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Auditorium, located at 200 S. College Avenue.
Four WWU professors will participate in this multi-disciplinary discussion, entitled, “The Economic Meltdown: The Past, Present, and What’s Left of the Future,” speaking on the recent economic collapse from historical, economic, psychological, and ethical perspectives.
Faculty participants are: Monty Buell, associate professor and chair of the Department of History and Philosophy; Bruce Toews, Associate Professor of Business; Julian Melgosa, professor and dean of the School of Education and Psychology; Pedrito Maynard-Reid, Professor of Biblical Studies and Missiology.
