students may sign in through OASIS

No longer will students have to wait for their monthly statement to arrive or make the trek over to the Student Financial Services office in order to determine the status of their financial account. Beginning this week, Walla Walla College students and their parents will be able to view their account online.
Accessible through OASIS, the online account will display each student’s transactions as they are posted, including charges, loan and scholarship deposits, and payments. Most online payments are posted by noon of the following day.
“This service will make it easier for students and parents to stay on top of their WWC accounts,” says Cassie Ragenovich, director of student financial services.
According to Ken Vyhmeister, director of accounting, many students and parents make payment decisions after hours and on weekends. “This will be better for everyone. Being able to view accounts online allows people to make more informed decisions at a time when it is convenient for them.”
To access your account, log onto OASIS using your regular user name and password. Then click on the second tab at the top, called “Records.” The first link is “View Account Transactions,” which will take you to your personal account.
“Being able to see my college financial records online is very helpful,” says Darius Fleck, a senior business major. “And accessing them from my OASIS account is convenient, especially at the end of the quarter. Now I won’t have to wait in line at the Student Financial Services office to see how much money I need to pay before the beginning of the next quarter.”
It’s not only students who will benefit from this new service. Faculty and staff accounts are now also available online.
