Parents, friends, and family are invited to join Walla Walla University’s Portland campus for the Nov. 10 nursing dedication of junior nursing majors. Other weekend events include a Friday night vespers and a Sabbath church service.
The nursing dedication will be held at 4 p.m. in the Sunnyside Seventh-day Adventist Church adjacent to the Portland campus. Paddy McCoy, WWU’s chaplain, will speak for the event.
ReConnect, the vespers program, is a time to worship and share together, according to its coordinator, Bryan James. “We want to form encouraging friendships and to network with other young adults on community service and outreach projects,” says James. ReConnect will meet Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. in the lecture hall of the nursing education building.
On Sabbath, Nov. 10, the ReVive church service will be held in the lecture hall at 11 a.m. ReVive is the monthly collegiate/young adult church service designed to meet the group’s unique needs.
